Explore Cutting-Edge Technology
Q-Switched Mode (1064nm & 532nm)
Q-Switched offers four versatile QSW modes 532 nm, 1064 nm, 1064 nm PDP and 1064 nm Quasi. Each mode is tailored to address specific skin concerns with precision and efficiency. The Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser mode delivers ultra short, high-energy pulses (in NS) of light into the skin, targeting pigment, ink and specific skin structures with extreme precision. The pigment absorbs the intense laser energy and shatters due to rapid thermal expansion. This photo-acoustic effect occurs without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG (1064nm)
Laser mode delivers longer duration pulses (in MS) which allows the laser to penetrate deep in the dermis effectively targeting the deeper skin structure. This controlled heating effectively targets the tissue without causing thermal damage to the epidermis.
Advanced Pulse Technologies
Targets superficial pigmentation with high melanin absorption, making it ideal for freckles, sunspots, PIH and vascular lesions. Ultra-short pulses break pigment into fine particles cleared by the body, with minimal damage to surrounding tissue.
This wavelength penetrates deeply into the skin, making it ideal for treating dermal pigmentation, tattoos, vascular lesions, and active acne, safely and effectively across all skin types. In Q-Switched mode, it delivers powerful photoacoustic pulses that break down pigment particles while preserving the surrounding tissue and epidermis.
Enhances peak power up to 2.2 J, approximately 10–30% higher than standard Nd:YAG lasers, by splitting a single pulse into two high-energy bursts. This dual-pulse delivery maintains a strong photoacoustic effect while minimizing thermal damage, reducing the risk of side effects such as hypopigmentation or folliculitis. It's particularly effective for treating resistant tattoos, dense pigmentation, and challenging cases like melasma.
Delivers microsecond pulses (100–300 μs) for a gentle yet effective thermal approach. By gradually heating the target area, it creates a controlled photothermal effect that minimizes skin irritation. This makes it especially suitable for treating melasma, diffuse pigmentation, and skin that is sensitive or prone to inflammation.

The MLA (Micro Lens Array) handpiece is an advanced accessory designed to enhance treatment precision and optimize energy delivery, similar to the performance of a Pico laser. Utilizing a specialized lens array, this fractional handpiece divides the laser beam into microscopic beams that form a uniform honeycomb pattern following a Gaussian energy distribution—highest at the center and gradually tapering off toward the edges.
This fractional delivery allows for precise and controlled treatment of the skin concerns while minimizing the impact on surrounding tissues. As a result, it ensures maximum efficacy with minimal thermal damage, leading to improved patient comfort, faster healing and exceptional clinical outcomes.

LIOB Effect with MLA & DOE
The LIOB (Laser Induced Optical Breakdown) effect creates micro-explosions in the skin, forming cavitation bubbles that stimulate collagen remodelling. The MLA handpiece focuses laser energy into 100 micro-spots within a 10mm area, preventing heat buildup and side effects. By delivering higher energy at each spot’s center, MLA optimizes LIOB for effective skin resurfacing and collagen stimulation. This technology enhances precision, safety and efficacy for non-invasive skin rejuvenation
Quasi Q-Switched Mode on the Finebeam Dual delivers microsecond-long pulses (100–300 μs) to produce a gentle, controlled photothermal effect in the skin. This mode is less aggressive than traditional Q-switched lasers, which emit ultra-short nanosecond pulses designed to shatter pigment through mechanical shock.
Instead, Quasi mode gradually heats the target area, making it ideal for treating melasma, diffuse pigmentation, and sensitive or inflammation-prone skin. It’s a preferred option for skin rejuvenation and toning, especially in Fitzpatrick skin types III–V, where a softer approach minimizes the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
PDP Mode stands for Photo-Dermal Processing—a specialized setting within the Finebeam Dual's Q-Switched functionality. Unlike traditional Q-Switched treatments that deliver a single high-energy nanosecond pulse, PDP mode emits a rapid sequence of low-energy nanosecond pulses to the skin in a precise, repetitive pattern.
This allows for a gentler, more uniform energy delivery that minimizes skin trauma while still effectively targeting pigment. PDP mode combines mild photomechanical and photothermal effects, making it ideal for sensitive skin types and conditions requiring a softer approach.
A long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser uses the 1064nm wavelength with longer pulse durations—typically ranging from milliseconds (ms) rather than nanoseconds—to deliver controlled thermal energy deep into the skin. Unlike Q-switched lasers that rely on rapid, high-intensity pulses to shatter pigment, long-pulsed Nd:YAG lasers work by heating target structures, such as hair follicles, blood vessels, or collagen-rich tissues, over a longer period.
A Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser emits extremely short, high-energy pulses of light at a 1064nm wavelength in the nanosecond range (typically 5–10 nanoseconds). These ultra-fast pulses create a strong photoacoustic (mechanical) effect that rapidly breaks down pigment particles in the skin without significant heat damage to surrounding tissues.
Laser Genesis is a gentle, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment using a Long-pulsed 1064nm Nd:YAG laser. It delivers precise, controlled heat to the upper dermis, stimulating collagen production and promoting healthier, more youthful-looking skin.
This treatment is designed to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, minimize enlarged pores, and diminish diffuse redness such as rosacea or post-acne erythema—all without downtime or discomfort.
